Venturi employees have the option to contribute to and participate in the management of a 501(c)3 charitable organization which makes grants to worthy causes in the communities that Venturi operations. The Venturi Brighter Day Employee Fund (VBDEF), founded in 2007, remains a core part of our commitment to community. By paying the costs of operating the Fund, Venturi ensures that every penny donated by an employee is 100% applied to grants. Employees also contribute their time and skills in community volunteer projects organized through VBDEF. Since its founding, Venturi employees have contributed over $1,000,000 in grants and numerous hours of service to more than seventy charities in the communities where our employees live and work.
